Our Past

In the Spring of 1998 a group of dedicated Colorado singers came together to form what has become The Alpine Chorale. Under the guidance of Dr. Lee Egbert the chorale has become a respected vocal presence in the Rocky Mountain Region. Over the years the chorale has performed in many venues along the front range while developing a large loyal audience.

The music that a group performs says as much about its nature as anything. Our musical selections reflect our diverse nature, as well as our desire to perform a wide variety of musical styles. Congratulations to SCFD on the celebration of its 20th anniversary!!!

SCFD LogoIn 1988 the voters of the greater Denver metro area approved the creation of the Scientific and Cultural District and in 2004 the voters reauthorized the tax by a wide margin so that groups like the Alpine Chorale can apply for grants until the year 2017.
