The Music

The Alpine Chorale performs a varied repertoire in style and vocal music texture. Selections are diverse from the Masters to pop to gospel spirituals. Each concert is designed by Musical Director, Dr. Lee Egbert to please the discerning appetite of a diverse audience.

The chorale has had the honor of performing the premier of original works such as Mary McAuliffe’s An American Odyssey and many original compositions by celebrated local composer Pete Simpson. Guest musical groups have included the fantastic Kutandara, popular local jazz combo the Dan Geisler Group, the renowned Boulder Brass and of course the fabulous Alpine Orchestra.

Keeping vocal selections relevant and contemporary while honoring the rich history of musical literature is the constant goal of Dr. Egbert and the Alpine Chorale. To enjoy the heights of vocal music mastery you must witness the chorale in their 'incredible discovery' of great music and the joy of singing. To join the Alpine Chorale please see the up-coming concerts listed below.
